Default Charts

The Total Performance chart compares the current plan with previous model years.
The contribution chart shows how tactics contribute to your overall sales volume.

Click on names in the legend to hide/show specific factors. In this example below, Base has been deselected to isolate contribution by marketing tactic. To go back to the top level, can click the arrow button in the top right corner.

Marketing Tactic Performance shows the breakdown of performance metrics for each factor or factor group. By default, you’ll see investment, contribution and ROI, but can use the settings cog to add or remove metrics.
The Yearly Comparison chart displays how investment has changed between the model and your current plan. This can quickly reflect where major shifts in strategy are happening during the planning period. You can also update the metric from Investment to any other available metric, and change the date range of the bars to better understand the comparison
The Investment Timing chart shows how your tactics are invested by period (weekly/monthly), as well as the overall investment for each period. Reviewing this will point out the change in trends over the planning period. Just like with contribution, you can click any of the factors in the legend to hide them.
The decomposition of changes (aka: Due-to) chart provides a sales volume comparison between two periods, where the incremental shifts attributed to each tactic are detailed and the sum of the shift is the total difference in sales volume in the periods.
